The 44.5 x 10 mm conical vials have an 8.1 mm opening, are graduated in 0.5 ml increments up to 1.5 ml, are externally threaded and come with a screw cap that can be color-coded with inserts for instant specimen identification. They also have a special skirted base design that allows them to be locked into the cryogenic tray, for single-handed manipulation.
